Hello folks! I am Rui- Yi Lee, the president of Maryland Consulting Club. You can feel free to call me Ray (the actual pronunciation of "Rui" in my language). I am currently an MBA student dual degree in MSBA (Business Analytics). Before joining Smith, I worked as a stock trade settlement specialist in HSBC Taiwan for 3.5 years. Aside from the financial role, I also have experience as a marketing strategist and industrial strategy analyst in Taiwan for 1 and 2 years respectively. I have a great passion for company strategic planning and analysis and that's the reason I pursue the MBA right now in this phase of my life- to enhance my skills and experience and to pivot to the career path of a strategy consultant. Feel free to discuss with me your thoughts on consulting and strategy or the career path that you may want to have in the future. Aside from the career or academic topics, I am also a beer lover and surfing lover, so it's also a big welcome that you can invite me to beer tasting or surf together.
