I hope your summer is off to a great start! Many people think that summer is a time off in higher education, but we’re actually very busy here. We are planning exciting and innovative new initiatives for the Smith School, including a redesign of the undergraduate curriculum, including brand new minors in fintech, climate finance, sports management and analytics, and blockchain. We plan to take the general business minor online to make it available to more UMD students, and expand opportunities for business classes across the university.
