In her role as career and leadership coach, Rachel provides career coaching to Executive MBA students and alumni and manages the strategy and execution of a comprehensive career development program. This includes presenting and managing a variety of mastery sessions devoted to career and professional development topics (e.g., career exploration, transition, networking and interviewing, etc.). She also maintains relationships with alumni and corporate recruiters in support of EMBA student career goals.

Recently, she served as an instructor for one section of Managing People and Organizations for undergraduate business students and an instructor in the Bridge to Leadership Training Program provided to the National Heart, Lung, Blood Institute employees through the Smith School’s Office of Executive Programs.

Prior to her current role, she served as director of undergraduate career services, where she led the provision of career coaching and programming for over 2,500 students. She also managed 25 student organizations and established a student peer-mentoring program.

Rachel earned her Master of Science in Organizational Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in 2007 and holds the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential from the International Coach Federation (ICF) and is also a member of ICF and the MBACSEA. She is certified to administer the Career Leader, E.Q.-2.0/EQ 360 and DISC assessments. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to jazz music, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
