Ms. Ferris is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner with nearly a decade of experience in complex audits including forensic accounting, fraud examination, and performance and compliance audits. She is a senior manager with Cotton & Company’s Contracts, Grants, and Litigation group where she focuses on forensic audit and litigation support. She has researched and written on technical subjects including blockchain in government accounting and is a co-author on the NIST sponsored study “The Economic Impact of the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 1996-2017”. Ms. Ferris is an experienced college lecturer and has tutored Chinese and accounting periodically since 2008. She brings a collaborative mindset and team management to her classrooms rounded out by a range of professional experiences as team contributor and leader. She leads an active life filled with great friends, road cycling, travel, and fine art painting.
