The Center for the Study of Business Ethics, Regulation, & Crime (C-BERC) at the University of Maryland is the first of its kind to formally link Business with Criminology in an effort to scientifically confront, assess, evaluate, and develop best practices in areas related to the center.

Policy Intern (Paid)

Preferred Location: Washington, DC, USA (Remote work options possible)
Fall Term: September to December 2022 (Start and End Dates Flexible)

Compensation: $16.10/hr for 20+ hours per week

The FACT Coalition is looking for a Policy Intern to help with the Coalition’s communications, advocacy, outreach, and operations. Priority will be given to applicants who can work at least 20 hours a week. Learn more.

2022 Fishlinger Family Lecture

Featuring Congressman Jamie Raskin

On Friday, April 8, the Center for the Study of Business Ethics, Regulation & Crime (C-BERC), the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, and the Robert H. Smith School of Business co-hosted the 2022 Fishlinger Family Lecture at the The David C. Driskell Center.

The annual event is made possible by the generous support of Matt Fishlinger, GVPT '07, and Bill Fishlinger, GVPT '71, and their families, and this year featured remarks by Congressman Jamie Raskin (D-MD), the U.S. Representative for Maryland’s 8th Congressional District.
